Grey Winfree is currently a student at Ringling College of Art and Design as a freshman in the school’s creative writing department. He is an aspiring screenwriter with a particular love for writing slice of life stories with interesting and engaging characters that people can relate to. A lot of Grey’s work draws inspiration from films like Pearl and Dancer in the Dark finding great emotional connection in those films like no other that he wishes to replicate. For Grey, storytelling and writing is one of the best ways to showcase the depth and complexity of life and the human experience, believing that every person has a story worth telling. He sees writing as a way to explore different perspectives and areas of the human experience. Through his writing, he hopes to create compelling narratives that resonate with audiences, spark meaningful conversations, and offer insight into the lives of others.
